With the 2021 RAM 3500, consumers can choose to outfit their new heavy-duty truck with a diesel engine: the 6.7-Liter High-Output Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 Engine. This engine is exclusive to the 2021 RAM 3500 and boasts some very impressive numbers.

When properly equipped, this engine grants the 2021 RAM 3500 the capacity to pull up to 37,100 pounds. That's a total of 2,000 pounds more than the previous model. This is also accomplished with an enhanced heavy-duty rear frame and redesigned wheel hitch.

But that's not it. The 2021 RAM 3500's top-of-the-line engine now outputs a whopping 1,075 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 75 pounds! To do this, RAM's engineers reportedly increased the boost limits using a new turbocharger. They also jacked up the fuel delivery system's flow rate.
