The Dodge Durango was initially introduced in 1998 at a time when drivers were looking for more options for large SUVs. It had a truck's base, as did most SUVs at that time, as well as three rows and powerful engine options, including a V6 and a couple of V8s. It wasn't until a few years later, however, that the Durango first offered the HEMI engine, which is now synonymous with this SUV. That was one of the many things that put the Durango at the top of the pack for a formidable three-row SUV.
Our team at Ruge's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is well-versed in the Dodge Durango and can help you narrow down our selection to ensure you find the best match for your needs, which makes us the perfect team when looking for a "Dodge dealer near me." In addition to the typical trims—the GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat—you'll find four special editions in the 2025 lineup, each of which offers distinct benefits.

The 2025 Dodge Durango's Special Editions
For the 2025 model year, Dodge is honoring two decades of HEMI-powered excellence with the R/T 20th Anniversary trim and three unique versions of the Durango's SRT Hellcat trim: the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, SRT Hellcat Hammerhead, and SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey. Each of these is explored further below.
Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary
For the R/T 20th Anniversary Plus (or slightly more spruced R/T 20th Anniversary Premium), the Dodge Durango's design will include accents like a black HEMI hood graphic and "345" fender badging. That badging is in reference to the 345 HEMI engine, which is a 5.7L V8 engine that produces 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.
This nomenclature evokes memories of the muscle car era when engines were measured by cubic inches rather than liters. It is also the engine that is standard for the R/T 20th Anniversary trim. Additionally, this special edition will include Brass Monkey-colored accents, black exterior badging, and six-piston Brembo brakes. On the inside, you will find SRT seats that are highlighted by Tupelo bronze stitching and forged carbon accents.
The R/T 20th Anniversary trim will also include a 10.1-inch touchscreen display that seamlessly connects to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and allows you to access your favorite playlists, turn-by-turn directions, and more. This trim comes equipped with the Tow 'n Go Package, which includes performance sheets, active noise cancellation, an electronic slip differential, and SRT active damping suspension.
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet
The Silver Bullet is unlike any other Durango you've seen before. It is only available with Triple Nickle exterior paint and a Satin Black hood, along with gray metallic SRT badging and 20-inch wheels. You'll also find SRT black exhaust tips and Satin Black taillight badging on the outside; meanwhile, the inside is outfitted with Nappa Red leather seats that get the SRT touch, with Hellcat logos embroidered on the seat backs. A suede steering wheel and headliner are also part of the overall look.
Similar to the R/T 20th Anniversary, the SRT Hellcat special editions feature a 10.1-inch display that connects to compatible phones while also offering customized Uconnect 5 appearances and features. For instance, there is an SRT "Smoke Show" start-up animation, a unique serpentine font used throughout the display system, configurable drive modes for more precise control, and more.
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead
The exterior of the SRT Hellcat Hammerhead is Night Moves dark blue, while the interior is Hammerhead Grey Laguna. This version also has 20-inch wheels like the others, but those wheels are Satin Carbon, rather than being finished in Lights Out paint like the Silver Bullet or having the Brass Monkey wheels on the Brass Monkey edition.
On the inside, the Hammerhead looks like its name, with carbon fiber and black chrome accents offering a moody, mysterious vibe. Add to that the leather and suede steering wheel, the SRT Hellcat logos embroidered on the back seats, and the sepia and silver accent stitching, and you begin to see that the Hammerhead might be the more sophisticated of the SRT three.
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey
Last but not least, the SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey's exterior is Red Oxide, and it has specialized badging on the exterior and interior that solidifies which trim it is. On the inside, it offers the same SRT Hellcat embroidery on the back of the Sepia Laguna leather seats, along with silver and sepia stitching, forged carbon fiber with black chrome accents, and a bit of suede on the headliner.
All three SRT Hellcat special editions have a supercharged 6.2L HEMI Hellcat V8 engine that produces 710 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. This impressive engine has been shown to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and offers a top speed of 180 mph, making these special editions unparalleled in the three-row SUV segment.
The 2025 Dodge Durango GT and Other Features
Well before the R/T 20th Anniversary and the three SRT Hellcats, the 2025 Durango comes standard in its GT trim. When equipped with the Premium Package, the GT elevates luxury and comfort, boasting features such as a power sunroof, built-in navigation, an Alpine audio system with nine speakers, heated first- and second-row seats, vented front-row seats, advanced safety features, and more.
For all versions of the 2025 Dodge Durango, there is seating for up to seven, depending on how the rows are configured, and more than 60 available and standard safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-path detection.
Additionally, the interior is family-friendly and well-designed, ensuring passengers have ample room, comfortable seating, and amenities like USB charging ports and beverage holders. There are also storage cubbies throughout the interior that help keep things organized, whether you're taking a road trip or are only headed a few blocks away.
