A black 2023 Ram 1500 Limited (RAM) Red Edition is shown driving on a city street.

The RAM 1500 light-duty pickup truck is proudly produced at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Sterling heights, Michigan. RAM invested 1.49 billion dollars into the plant to retool for the all-new RAM 1500 pickup truck. The facility is currently focused on the RAM 1500, but has previously produced favorites like the Dodge Avenger, Chrysler LeBaron, and Dodge Daytona.

RAM 1500 Classic models are built nearby at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, Michigan. This plant has produced millions of trucks since opening its doors back in 1938. The facility is also home to production for new Jeep models.

New RAM Trucks are trusted all around the world, and many RAM vehicles for global use are produced in North America at the Saltillo Assembly Plant. These RAM 1500, RAM 2500, RAM 3500, RAM 4500, and RAM 5500 trucks are exported all around the world.

The RAM 1500's origin is just part of why it's so popular here. The RAM 1500 light-duty pickup truck is an incredibly capable and versatile vehicle, famous for its high-end features, comfortable ride, heavy-duty towing and payload capacities, and rugged off-road abilities. You can enjoy the all-American RAM 1500 today at Ruge's Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Rhinebeck, NY.
